I just realized that the original file I provided isn't quite right with the color coding (http://d.alistapart.com/hybrid/hybrid-4.html). The "Modern" tab stays orange (in its current state), while the rest of the tabs remain White until you mouse over, and then they turn Dark Blue.
Not sure about this anomaly or if it should matter. Just wanted to point it out.
Perhaps I chose the wrong type of menu to implement???
